From the team at K-Drill...

Minneapolis, MN – The dawn of a new way to punch a hole in the ice is here. Seldom does a product come along to challenge the traditional world of ice fishing with something as fundamental as drilling a hole in the ice. It is called the K-Drill, a new concept in auger technology that uses a cordless drill to turn it. This new concept has totally re-defined how anglers will be drilling holes in the ice in the years to come.

Ice Team, an organization designed to promote and teach modern ice fishing strategies is the perfect partner to help introduce the K-Drill technology to millions of ice anglers. The fact that K-Drill is now a member of Ice Team is a total win-win for Ice Team, since promoting cutting edge technology like the K-Drill was the reason Ice Team was founded.

“We at Ice Team are very proud to have such an awesome product like the K-Drill on board with us this year.” Stated Matt Johnson of Ice Team. “I have personally used the K-Drill now for two winters and enjoy showing everyone I meet this amazing new product. The K-Drill and cordless drill system WILL replace gas augers in the next few years as the preferred way to cut a hole in the ice.”

The K-Drill is a product designed to be used with today’s Lithium Ion electric drills. The Drill assembly of the K-Drill weights only 5 pounds and is available in both 6” and 8” holes sizes and can easily cut 36” of ice without an extension. The K-Drill is designed to cut ice at a higher RPM than a gas drill so the bite of the drill bit is not as aggressive and this means almost anyone in your family can use it to drill a hole.

Costing about $500 for the K-Drill and the Electric drill you will need to use, means when you are not using the K-Drill for drilling a hole in the ice, you can be using the drill itself around the house or at work. Some of the U-Tube videos on the K-Drill have been seem by over a million anglers, and when you see a K-Drill in action, you will be the next one to invest in this revolutionary device for ice fishing.

Love these augers. Super lightweight and quiet. Key for not giving those fish too much of a spook. This thing is very powerful, eats ice!
