I know in recent trips the hot colors were gold, red glow and rainbow. The red glow/gold Rattlin Blade Spoon was hot up there, same with the new Leech Flutter Spoon from Clam Pro Tackle. Both of those have become a mainstay for many LOTW anglers...

Gold is always a good bet on LOW: I'd try the JM Rattlin Blade Spoon in gold/pink (with the feathered treble) on my jigging rod. I've had crazy success with that lure this year on bigger fish. For a dead stick/rattle reel If I'm fishing deeper than 20 ft. I will use the speed spoon with the dropper rig and a minnow. Or the Blade Jig tipped with a minnow on my rattle reels.
