Ice Fishing with Soft Plastics - Panfish Progression and Options

The secret has been out for years... soft finesse plastics work very well for catching panfish—crappies and bluegills—while out ice fishing! Here’s a rundown of my progression depending on depth of water and aggressiveness from fish. Obviously the sky is the limit and there are WAY more options than this, but it’s a starting point. And remember, confidence is everything, so use what you’re confident in and you’ll catch more fish as well!!
