Destination Ice Fishing dream.

If you could pick one spot to fish any species through the ice. What would it be?

For me I would have to say Lake Eric catching walleyes on rattle baits. I have never been, but it is on the top of the bucket list. And if we get a winter like they are saying we might get, this year would be a perfect year to go.

I still want to head down and fish with Don Cox on the Sandhill lakes in Nebraska for MONSTER sunfish!

Then there is also white perch with Tim Moore on Lake Winnipesaukee...

Then there is also giant browns with Eric Haataja in the Milwaukee harbors...

Then there is also an airboat ride to ice for freak walleyes with Ross Robertson on Lake Erie...

Black Hills in SD for Lake Trout is on the bucket list. I don't think I will ever miss a March trip to Winnipeg after going this past March can't wait to get up there again!!!

A wilderness lake trout camping outing has been a dream of mine for a while.

The door is always open Matt! btw, fall gill net surveys are coming in. Bluegill increments look very impressive on these Sandhill lakes...

I swear for every destination that gets checked off my list, 10 more appear.

I've caught Silvers and Reds in the summer in Alaska. Thinking that would be a blast through the ice.

Mine would be either Cascade Lake, ID for jumbo jumbo perch or else Flaming Gorge, UT/WY for giant Lake Trout!!
