Info on 6 inch Clam Auger?

Hello does this drill break through ice nice and clean hand or drilling with plate? It looks like a lazer auger with out those welded bars on the bottom looks like a Finbore. I have a K Drill but it's hard on the drill thanks for any info. For $80 bucks looks great can you use Lazer blades for replacements?

This auger does cut very nice. I would keep the k drill handy as well. That auger is great for reopening old holes. The 6” clam hooked to a plate is a ice eating machine and you can get a pile of holes out of one good charge.
