A lot of great options out there. I'm even seeing more and more people using smart devices (iPads, etc) out on the ice with the Navionics app too. I see these mounted on ATV's more and more. Otherwise Lowrance and Humminbird units are common too. They all get the job done. I've been using a Lowrance HDS-7 unit for my on-ice GPS. Then I use a Navionics chip with it. Otherwise for a quick and easy scouting mission I might just rely on my Navionics phone app...

I second on the Navionics! It's nice to converge gps location with depths etc.

I see that new Navionics chip has quite a bit to offer, i went to the web site i couldn't find the list of lakes, other then the new lakes. I would like to know all the MN. lakes anyhow, i do like the fact that all the other states are included. I will look for some of you guys at the ice show this weekend.

Ill third Navionics. Solid maps, and it changes the way you fish!
