Here's the latest report from the Rooster Bait and Tackle in Rapid City

Fishing Report 1/13/18:
Orman - Walleyes are biting late in the afternoon and early in the morning. Buckshot or Leech Flutter spoons tipped with a fathead are a good jigging bet while having tip-ups set out with golden shiners.

Angustura - We are actually getting some decent reports out of Angus with nice walleyes being caught and good perch when you find them. The walleyes are being targeted in the same spots that they were catching them this fall.

Deerfield - Lakers seemed to have moved over by the dam with a steady bite of perch and rainbows around Dutchman and Gold Run using wax worms and minnows.

Waggoner - We were told that this lake winter killed last year due to lack of oxygen.

Roubiax -Still a top spot to take some kids for steady brook trout, rainbow, and perch action.

Pactola - Lakers are still being caught in depths 50ft plus, target these hard fighting fish with tip-ups and golden shiners and jig the Leech Flutter spoon, Areoplane jigs, or the big Swedish Pimples tipped with minnows or shiners and white tails seem to be the color they like. Jenny Gulch and Bear Gulch continue to produce pike up to 10 pounds, haven't heard of any giants yet but they are there.

Sheridan - Bigger pike have been reported out of the lake on golden shiners or our big chubs. The perch bite is reported to be better in the late afternoon in 20-30 feet on Halis and red maggots.

Shadehill - We haven't got any current reports but there are dudes heading up there.
